The Project

These homeowners reached out wanting a backyard deck, a walkway that wrapped around the house to connect to their front porch, and a small transparent patio cover so they could enjoy the deck during our rainy PNW winters.

The catch was that they needed access to their septic tank and crawlspace, both of which sat right where the deck needed to go. We designed and built custom access panels that blended in with the decking to keep the septic and crawl space accessible, and carefully placed the foundation so it didn't interfere with the septic tank or drain lines.

We used TimberTech Advanced PVC in Cypress for the main decking with a Mahogany picture frame border.

Their pup, Freya (pictured below), made sure everything was done just right and her owners were very happy with how it all turned out.
