Edmonds Deck, Covered Front Porch & Patio Cover

Edmonds low-level back deck replacement with TimberTech Dark Cocoa composite decking and wraparound steps

What Our Client Said

“I had an excellent experience working with Tool & Trade on my new backyard deck. Communication was great, the workmanship was outstanding, and the project started and finished on schedule.

What really set them apart was the level of care and ownership throughout the process. The owner Drew was constantly looking for ways to make the project better, including offering to remove an old concrete slab and coordinating with a plumber to safely remove and reinstall the outdoor water heater that was located on the deck. These were the kinds of details that others overlooked but Drew went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled properly.

They did such a great job that I’m already using Tool & Trade again to install a new covered front porch in a few weeks. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality craftsmanship and a contractor who genuinely cares about doing things the right way.”

The Project

Brian hired us to replace his low-level back deck and his front porch, and to add a cover over the front porch.

The back deck was an interesting one. It had a water heater on it, inside an insulated enclosure. We helped coordinate a plumber to replace the water heater while we replaced the deck, so Brian had as little disruption to his hot water as possible.

We used TimberTech Dark Cocoa composite decking for both the back deck and the front porch, and built the front porch railing to match his existing fence.

Brian was so happy with the result that he had us back to build a freestanding patio cover with premium polycarbonate roofing, in preparation for a future hot tub.
