The Project

This was a teardown and full rebuild of a back deck, plus new front porch stairs. Ernesto stopped by while we were working on a multi-deck rebuild down the street and asked us to take a look at his decks.

Both decks were in rough shape. Out back, we extended the deck to give them more room and added a new set of stairs down to the yard. Out front, the old stairs were failing and no longer safe for Ernesto and his wife, so we redecked the porch, rebuilt the stairs and added new railings.

We used TimberTech Coastline PVC decking with black Impression Rail Express aluminum picket railings for a low-maintenance, clean look and a deck that will last for many years to come.

Ernesto and his wife were really happy with the final product, and the front stairs are safe for them again.
