The Project

These folks reached out with a plan in mind for a private, covered space to enjoy their future hot tub. We worked with them to figure out the best location and design for the space, using TimberTech Sea Salt Gray composite decking and fascia, with stainless steel hidden fasteners.

Since this deck was going to support both an aluminum pergola and hot tub, we redesigned both the frame and foundation to account for the large structural loads. We also added extra flashing protection to the frame to protect the hardware from any corrosion issues from the salt-water hot tub. The result was a sturdy and low-maintenance private backyard getaway perfect for warming up in our drizzly PNW winters.
