We live in a tiny cinder block home with 4 cats and desperately needed some extra room for our kitties. I found Drew recommended on Reddit, and he was quick to come out and put my abstract idea of a catio into a plan that turned out absolutely stunning.

He is truly a one-man show. He does all the work on his own, from demo to building. He got this entire project done in the heat of the summer last year. The workmanship is outstanding, and I actually waited to do a review to see if there would be any issues we found. The only one was that our escape artist cats required us to reinforce the roofline with chicken wire, but that was on us.

The deck has become our favorite place to enjoy. Even in the cold weather, the cats spend most of the day outside on it, and it feels like we added so much space to the house. Highly recommend Drew and the job he did on this project!”

The Project

This covered deck project was built to create a protected and comfortable outdoor space for four cats and their owners while adding a usable outdoor space to a small home.

We worked with the owners to find their perfect color of TimberTech Decking (Dark Cocoa) for a low-maintenance surface and developed a screened-in covered porch design with Solar Gray Suntuf polycarbonate roofing that created a long-lasting, relaxing space to enjoy all year long.
